As NCDHA’s publicity chairman, I am desperately in need of email addresses from both members and non-members.  As you know, we are hoping to introduce legislation introducing general supervision and local anesthesia administration this winter.  If we are to be successful, we need the support of every single dental hygienist in North Carolina!  We will compile these email addresses into a statewide email tree to keep all hygienists apprised of our issues.

We need letters/testimonies from supportive dentists and/or physicians.  If you know or work for somebody that you think might write a letter of support, please send me their name and address or email address. 

We also need testimony/letters from people who are having difficulty with access to dental care.  If you know a nursing home supervisor, public health nurse, or any other allied health provider/administrator who would comment on how general supervision would help solve the access to care problem in their area, I need their names and addresses. 

The time is NOW, and if we don’t move quickly, the opportunity will be lost.
