Course description:
Is silver diamine fluoride (SDF) the silver bullet to end restorative treatment of caries? No, however, it is a new standard in the armamentarium for all dental professionals. This course will explain the history, protocol, and provide hands on training to allow licensed dental health care providers to be comfortable with utilization of SDF immediately upon completion of the course.

Brigette Easter, RDH, BSDH, began her dental career as a dental assistant in 1998 for a growing periodontal practice in Winston Salem, NC. She furthered her education by receiving her Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene from Guilford Technical Community College in Jamestown, NC in 2002 and her Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014. She currently works full time as a clinical hygienist for a private practice in Winston Salem, NC and is also an Adjunct Clinical Educator at Forsyth Technical Community College in Winston-Salem, NC.
