
Beth Collins Kornegay, CDA, RDH, MS, is the current treasurer of NCDHA and serves as chair of the Finance Committee. She has been a member of NCDHA since 2014 and Greater Fayetteville component since 2015. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene and Master of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene Education from UNC-Chapel Hill. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in Adult, Workforce, and Continuing Professional Education at North Carolina State University.
Beth has experience working as a clinician in private practice and research settings. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor in the Dental Hygiene Programs at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she is the second year undergraduate dental hygiene clinic director, directs the Clinical Teaching and Clinical Administration graduate courses, and serves on undergraduate and graduate thesis committees. At the Adams School of Dentistry, she is the committee chair of the Dental Hygiene Curriculum Committee and is a member of the Curriculum Innovation Steering Committee. In addition to ADHA and NCDHA, Beth is an active member of the American Dental Education Association, Sigma Phi Alpha – Xi Chapter, and the Editorial Review Board for the Journal of Dental Hygiene.
