Dr. LaRee Johnson

LaRee Johnson, DDS, MS, FAAPD practices full time in Raleigh, NC, speaks nationally and internationally, is the Vice-President for the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and serves on the Board of Visitors and holds an adjunct faculty position at the University of North Carolina. After completing her DDS with honors at the University of Tennessee and her residency program at the University of North Carolina,

Dr. Johnson has been in full-time private practice for over 20 years. She is the founder of Carolina Pediatric Dentistry, a multi-doctor, two-location practice. Professionally, Dr. Johnson foremost enjoys caring for children via clinical pediatric dentistry. Her effective practice management skills are simply a byproduct of continued clinical excellence while ensuring a patient-centered practice model. Dr. Johnson is a graduate of Northwestern Kellogg Leadership Institute. Being a wife and mother of two children brings Dr. Johnson her greatest joy. Her family’s hobbies include anything outside, travel, and sports.

Dr. Johnson and her husband have completed multiple Ironman triathlons, the Umstead 100 Mile Endurance Run, and together have the goal to complete a marathon in each of the 50 states before age 50 (including qualifying for the Boston Marathon). Dr. Johnson enjoys sharing clinical and practice management lessons learned and developed to assist all professionally and in finding the elusive balance in life’s personal and professional journeys
