
Heather Edly, RDH, is the Immediate Past President (2019-2020) of NCDHA and serves as co-chair of the Annual Session Committee and the Membership Committee. She has been a member of NCDHA since 2014 when she started as a student member, where after graduation she became Trustee and President of the Foothills Component. She holds her degree in Dental Hygiene from Catawba Valley Community College in Hickory, North Carolina, where she currently sits on the Advisory Committee for the Dental Hygiene Program. She is currently pursuing dual majors in Public Health and Political Science at the University of North Carolina Greensboro, where after she plans to continue her education at Lenoir Rhyne University, majoring both in Physician’s Assisting and Law.
Heather is passionate about removing the barriers between medical and dental care, to allow for easier access to care for millions of Americans. She currently works full time in the clinical dental hygiene setting.
