Michelle began her professional career as a paralegal after graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Paralegal Studies from Southern Illinois University.  Michelle worked for many years as a paralegal before setting her sights on dental hygiene.  Throughout her life, Michelle enjoyed dental visits and found herself drawn to the dental hygiene profession.  She pursued her goal of becoming a dental hygienist and graduated from Fayetteville Technical Community College with an Associate in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 2011.  After graduation she worked in clinical practice.  In 2013, Michelle began working as a clinical instructor at Fayetteville Technical Community College.  She earned a Master Degree in Adult Education and in 2014 she became the Dental Hygiene Department Chair and Dental Division Chair at Fayetteville Technical Community College.  Michelle is an active member of the Greater Fayetteville Component of the North Carolina Dental Hygienist Association.  She is instrumental in facilitating continuing education courses for the dental community in Fayetteville and surrounding areas.  She served as the Component’s Trustee for many years during which time she was actively involved in the NCDHA.  She is also a member of ADEA and ADHA.  Michelle and her husband reside in Fayetteville.
